Glenn Phyper

Glenn Phyper is the president of Challenging Risk and the creator of Sentury Software™. He oversaw the development and implementation of the University of Toronto’s emergency and business continuity plans for the G20 Summit. He also set up and managed the Bell Canada Vancouver Olympics security command centre. Prior to forming Challenging Risk, Glenn served as a Staff Sergeant with the Toronto Police Service, where he developed Toronto’s first “Counter Terrorism” procedure, coordinated numerous large-scale chemical exercises, developed the security plan for 1400 police and 2000 security personnel at the SARS/Rolling Stones concert (450,000 ticket holders), served as the lead planner for the largest urban missing person search in North America, and created missing persons software. He served in various capacities at a corporate level during numerous significant crisis events, including explosions, demonstrations, blackouts, derailment, major strikes, and pandemics. Glenn received his B.A. from the University of Toronto prior to joining the Toronto Police Service in 1976 and has 31 years of policing experience
